Chairman of Wong Tai Sin District Council Mr Li Tak-hong, four District Council members, namely Ms Lui Kai-lin, Mr Chan Wai-kwan, Mr Yuen Kwok-keung and Mr Ho Hon-man, and representatives of local residents' associations presented tapestry flags to officers of the Special Duties Squad, Task Force Sub-Unit and District Crime Squad of Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST) on December 17 in recognition of their professional performance and swift action in making five arrests in October and November.

The five cases were a snatching case, a serial burglary case and three cases of trafficking in dangerous drugs. WTSDIST Commander Tsang Yim-sheung thanked the local community for their dedicated support to the Force. She encouraged the stakeholders to maintain close contact with various units of WTSDIST, and continue to give advice and support to the Force in respect of crime prevention and the promotion of road safety and community engagement.
