Over 3 000 children aged from six to eight joined the Junior Police Call (JPC) from last September to December following the lowering of the JPC age requirement from nine to six. Of these members, nearly 800 children and their family members joined a fun day at JPC@Pat Heung on January 5.

To cater for the junior recruits, the programme was modified to fit their needs and interest. They took part in a range of activities, including inflatable bouldering, inflatable sport climbing, crate climbing, archery, horse riding and a fingerprint workshop. They also enjoyed balloon twisting, face painting and photograph taking in mini police uniforms and mini police vehicles. Souvenirs were given to the participants.

On the other hand, the JPC will hold the "E-Sports Fun Day" at JPC@Pat Heung on February 16 to engage youngsters through a variety of activities and performances.

The Police Public Relations Branch will continue to organise activities to enhance communication with young people, and inspire them to develop positive values. The JPC will set up recruitment booths and release the latest information on its website (www.hkpjpc.org.hk), Instagram and Facebook.
