Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin and President of the Senior Officers' Mess Committee Cheung Ching hosted a luncheon for the retiring Regional Commander of Hong Kong Island Yu Tat-chung at the Commissioner's Lounge of the Senior Officers' Mess on January 23.

Ms Cheung praised Mr Yu for his dedication and significant contribution to the Force as well as his high standard of professionalism and commitment over 37 years of service.

Subsequently, Ms Chiu presented a souvenir to Mr Yu in admiration of his selfless spirit.'

All guests enjoyed the renowned curry dishes. They recalled the experience of working with Mr Yu, with much merriment. They missed him on his retirement.
