The Knowledge Management (Marine Policing) team ran a sharing session under the Lighthouse Sharing Series at Marine Police Headquarters on February 15. Controller of Marine Regional Command and Control Centre Team 3 Ho Sheung-yan was invited to talk about the knowledge and experience gained in a training programme at the Korea Coast Guard Academy.
Mr Ho gave a sharing to about 60 frontline officers on topics including shipwreck rescue drill, simulated navigational training, marine pollution response, water rescue and diving, emergency response training and fire fighting.
The sharing enabled the participants to get a better understanding of the training and work of the Korean law enforcement authority. It also provided a platform for Marine Police officers to enhance their professional knowledge and practical skills.
