Chief Superintendent of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) Chan Tung led a 32-member delegation to visit the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau (PSB) on February 27. The delegation comprised officers from the CSTCB, Regional Technology Crime Units and the Technology Crime Initial Response Cadre.

The delegates called on the Cyber Investigation Team of the PSB and Shenzhen Municipal Anti-telemarketing and Anti-Internet Scam Centre. They exchanged views with their Mainland counterparts about strategies for and work in tackling online deception in an attempt to enhance bilateral co-operation.

Meanwhile, Mr Chan paid courtesy calls to Mr Li Ping, head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the PSB, and Mr Zhang Yong, head of the Cyber Investigation Team of the PSB. Both sides looked forward to strengthening collaboration and intelligence exchange in combating cross-boundary technology crime.
