Commissioner General of Macao Unitary Police Service Mr Ma Io Kun led Commissioner of Public Security Police Force Mr Leong Man Cheong and Director of Judiciary Police Mr Sit Chong Meng to pay a courtesy call on Commissioner Lo Wai-chung on March 7.

Mr Lo and Mr Ma discussed a wide range of issues, including the overall crime trend, strategies for combating cross-boundary crimes, and direction of collaboration. Both sides recognised the importance of forging a closer partnership with a view to maintaining a stable law and order situation in their respective jurisdictions.

The visit enabled Mr Ma to get a better understanding of the Hong Kong Police Force, and laid a solid foundation for policing co-operation between Hong Kong and Macao.
