With the arrangement made by Crime Wing Headquarters, Chief Inspector Kai Tsz-lun led a delegation, comprising two Inspectors, two Sergeants and 10 Police Constables from District Investigation Teams (DITs), to pay a study visit to Qingdao between February 25 and 28.

The DIT officers called on the Qingdao Municipal Public Security Bureau (PSB) to exchange views and experience with their counterparts on criminal investigation and evidence collection at crime scenes. The DIT officers also visited two local police stations to learn about their criminal science technology and facial recognition system.

The Qingdao detectives have made effective use of innovative technology to assist in criminal investigation. The DIT officers broadened their horizons and benefited a lot from the visit.
