A roadshow showcasing Junior Police Call (JPC) members' winning works of "Hang Seng Bank - Help the Police Fight Youth Crime Competition 2018" was held at Metro City Plaza shopping mall in Tseung Kwan O on March 17. A total of 175 new JPC members were also recruited in the event.
With the theme of "Fight Crime Together for Tomorrow", the event spread the messages of anti-drugs, anti-cyber crime, anti-quick cash crime and anti-telephone deception. Apart from displaying the winning works such as the file folder designs of the primary group and "One-minute KOL" videos of the secondary group, tertiary group and open group, the roadshow featured a range of activities including web games, photo-taking with mini unimogs and police cars, game booths and recruitment of JPC members.
Senior Superintendent (Community Relations) of the Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) Yu Hoi-kwan accompanied Head of Corporate Responsibility of Hang Seng Bank Ms Alison Ho to tour the event.
The biennial competition is one of the major crime prevention programmes to steer youngsters clear of youth crime and to encourage them to work with the Police to fight crime. The next competition will be held in 2020.
