Airport District (APTDIST) held family days at the Airport Police Station on February 23 and March 9 to provide opportunities for relatives and friends to learn more about the work of their police family members.
The family days featured a variety of activities, including a display of the equipment and uniform of the Airport Security Unit, a police dog show, a magic show, a balloon twisting stall, a "mini police" photo booth and game stalls.
Over 400 relatives and friends of officers joined the family days. The event increased their understanding of the officers' workplace, enhanced the officers' sense of pride and belonging, and facilitated internal communication. Sergeant Tsoi Wing-kin of APTDIST said, "I have been serving in the Force for over 20 years. This is the first time to take photographs of myself in uniform with my son. This is really joyful."
