The Police Basketball Club (PBC) shone again at John Lee Cup Basketball Tournament 2018/19, with the Ladies' Team bringing home the championship in both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 matches while the Men's Team winning the third runner-up in both matches.


Chairman of the PBC Mr Tse Kwok-wai attended the final matches at the Disciplined Services Sports and Recreation Club on March 9 to show his support to the teams. The Ladies' Team defeated the Immigration Department in the final of the 5-on-5 match by 60-52 and won the championship for four consecutive years. Members of the team, Ms Hung Yat-na and Ms Chan Wing-kwan, were elected as the Most Valuable Players for the 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 matches respectively.


Secretary for Security Mr John Lee presented trophies to the winning teams and encouraged all the teams to continue their efforts to scale new heights. Mr Tse Kwok-wai congratulated the teams of the PBC and hoped they would excel in the World Police and Fire Games to be held in Chengdu in August.
