They exchanged views with Deputy Commissioner (Management) Kwok Yam-shu, Director of Personnel and Training Li Kin-fai and Director of the HKPC Cheung Ching with a view to strengthening co-operation in police training.
The PPSUC delegates visited various units of the HKPC, including the Learning Technologies Division, the Probationary Inspector Training Division, the Recruit Police Constable Training Division, the Research Centre as well as the Training Coordination and Liaison Division, to get a better understanding of the HKPC regarding its use of technology in police training as well as police foundation training and knowledge management. The delegates also attended an experience-sharing session with recruit police constables, and toured their barracks to learn about their training environment.
On the other hand, the delegates attended a welcome dinner hosted by Chairman of the Hong Kong Police Delegation for PPSUC Study Programme Alumni Association Lau Kit-man. They gained an in-depth understanding of the alumni's opinions in a bid to optimise the programme.
