Crime Hong Kong Island Regional Headquarters (Crime HKI) conducted a financial investigation workshop for more than 50 frontline officers from Crime HKI and four districts of HKI on April 4. The training aimed to enhance the officers' capabilities in dealing with crime proceeds arising from money laundering or other crime cases.
The workshop was presided over by Superintendent Law Kwok-hoi of Crime HKI. Assistant District Commander (Crime) of Central District (CDIST) Lam Wing-ho was invited to share his experience in investigating money laundering cases and the latest court judgments. Moreover, Senior Inspector Lai Hin-lok from Crime CDIST shared her experience in confiscation of crime proceeds. The trainees participated actively in the discussion session.
