The Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB) held a graduation ceremony of the Standard Crime Prevention Course for 24 officers from the CPB, Regional Crime Prevention Offices and the Critical Infrastructure Security Coordination Centre on March 29.
The participants learned to apply the latest crime prevention techniques and new security equipment through lectures and fieldwork assignments. They also gained a better understanding of the relevant legislation. The course enriched their knowledge and skills in giving crime prevention advice to the general public.
Senior Superintendent of Crime Wing Support Group Ho Chun-tung presented certificates to the participants, and congratulated them on the completion of the three-week course. He encouraged them to spread the crime prevention messages to the community. He also expressed gratitude to the guest speakers and CPB officers for their support.
