The Emergency Unit of Kowloon West (EU KW) invited members of a non-profit making organisation, the African Community Hong Kong, to visit its Operational Base and conduct an exchange with frontline officers on March 29.

President of the African Community Hong Kong Mr Ali Diallo explained to the officers the cultural and religious customs and taboos of non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community. He also put forward a series of suggestions for minimising conflicts and contradictions caused by cultural differences. This helped develop mutual understanding, trust and respect between the Police and the NEC community. Mr Diallo also pledged full support for the Police in fighting crime.
