At the invitation of Europol, Chief Inspector Shing Wai-ho of the Witness Protection Unit (WPU) gave a presentation on threat and risk assessment methodology at the 20th Conference of the Europol Witness Protection Network in Finland from May 21 to 23.

Over 100 representatives from 53 leading witness protection agencies worldwide attended the conference to discuss matters of mutual concern and share their work experience. The conference provided a platform for the attendees to strengthen their partnership.

This is the first time that the WPU was invited to give a presentation at the conference in the capacity of a member of the expert panel. The WPU has been widely recognised in the global arena for its professional performance. This promoted a positive image of the Force.
