In an endeavour to engage the community particularly the youth, the Operations Support and Occupational Safety and Health Division of the Support Wing gave a safety talk for 130 students of the Youth College in "SH Workshop@School" on May 29. The workshop was held jointly with the Junior Achievement Hong Kong and the Occupational Safety and Health Council.

Acting Senior Superintendent Yu Wai-kit and Senior Inspector Lau Siu-ling shared with the students the potential hazards police officers might face in their daily work. This helped promote safety and health awareness of the students and develop a positive culture among them. The officers also took the opportunity to introduce the duties of police officers.

Both the teachers and the students found the sharing very useful. The teachers said the event not only enhanced students' safety awareness, but also helped them develop a positive attitude towards life.
