Crime Marine Regional Headquarters held a seminar jointly with Marine Port District and Marine West Division to promote Project EYES to Port Facility Security Officers (PFSOs) from 28 prominent seafront structures on April 15 at Marine Headquarters.

Under Project EYES, stakeholders are encouraged to install closed-circuit television system (CCTV) to enhance security of their maritime and seafront structures. Marine Region invited an expert to introduce the latest technology of CCTV at the seminar. The expert advised the attendees to use solar power systems to power CCTV at sea.

Meanwhile, officers of the Regional Crime Prevention Office of Marine Region exchanged their maritime security experience with PFSOs. The seminar strengthened the support of PFSOs for Project EYES.
