The District Anti-Triad Section of Wanchai District (WCHDIST) and the Licensing Office Sub-Unit of Wanchai Division held a workshop for 20 licensees and employees of licensed liquor premises on May 31 about combating late-night violence.

Officers explained to the participants the laws relating to liquor premises and the responsibilities of a liquor licensee. The workshop reminded the practitioners of the importance of co-operating with the Police in combating late-night violence. WCHDIST also took the opportunity to enhance its partnership with the stakeholders in the community.
