Tseung Kwan O District (TKODIST) held the "Project SYNERGY Community Charter" Presentation Ceremony on May 31, with TKODIST Commander Mark Anstiss officiating at the ceremony.

Two members of Sai Kung District Fight Crime Committee and 89 representatives of local property management and security companies attended the event. Mr Anstiss presented the Community Charter to the representatives and appointed them as guardians of the community.

TKODIST has been implementing "Project SYNERGY" since 2016 with a view to enhancing communication with property management and security companies, raising community awareness of crime prevention, strengthening intelligence gathering and fighting crime with the community. The project has achieved remarkable results and has secured the full support of community stakeholders. Through the efforts of TKODIST officers, more companies have joined the project to form a strong anti-crime network. The annual presentation ceremony further enhances co-operation between officers and the property management and security companies in the fight against crime.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Anstiss expressed gratitude to all members of the project for their contribution. He hoped both the Police and the community would continue to dedicate themselves to serving the community. After the ceremony, officers exchanged views with the members to strengthen their partnership.
