The Chinese Dance Troupe of the Police Chinese Culture Club won a Silver Award for their Chinese classical dance named "The boundless sea of cloud" in the 47th Open Dance Contest at Ko Shan Theatre on May 20.

The troupe, currently led by Chief Inspector Ma Chi-pang, has entered the Open Dance Contest for four consecutive years.

The Police Chinese Culture Club was established in 1998 to promote Chinese culture and a healthy lifestyle among Force members. It also runs three interest groups on Chinese orchestra, Cantonese opera singing and Putonghua.
