Some 30 members of the Hong Kong Section of the International Police Association (IPA) and their family members visited Guilin City Public Security Bureau (PSB) in Guangxi Province for a cultural exchange from July 5 to 9.

The IPA members and their families were given a warm welcome by Mr Chen Rongmao, Vice Mayor of Guilin City cum Director of Guilin City PSB. Then the delegation visited the traffic police headquarters, a special police squad and a neighbourhood police unit. They also toured scenic spots and went to shopping streets.

The exchange offered a good opportunity for the IPA members and their family members to learn more about public security work on the Mainland. The IPA will continue to organise similar activities to foster friendship between its members and the Mainland and overseas counterparts.
