To promote integrity management (IM) in Hong Kong Island (HKI) Region, Western District (WDIST) and Traffic HKI jointly organised two workshops on financial management at WDIST Junior Police Call Clubhouse on July 18 and 24. Forty-four officers from various units in the Region attended the events.

The workshops were conducted in the form of a life simulation game, in which the participants tested their ability to make investment and financial management decisions. HKI Region sought the assistance of the Hong Kong Design Institute to design and make props for the game. At the end of the workshops, the participants shared their financial strategies in the game as well as in their real lives.

The workshops increased the participants' understanding of various investment vehicles, their own financial stress and the importance of financial prudence. Meanwhile, the props are available on loan to districts in HKI Region for promotion of IM on their own training days.
