The guests included Chairman of Eastern District Fight Crime Committee Dr Yeung Wai-hong, Chairman of Eastern District Council Mr Wong Kin-pan, Southern District Councillor Mrs Chan Lee Pui-ying, Chairman and Vice-chairman of Shek O Residents Association Ms Lam Chun and Mr Poon Siu-kwan, Chairperson of Big Wave Residents Association Ms Wong Wai-lan, Vice-Chairperson of Shek O Woman's Association Ms Wong Yuet-sin, EDIST Senior Police Call (SPC) and Junior Police Call (JPC) members as well as "Project Youth C.A.N." ambassadors from SKH Li Fook Hing Secondary School, The Chinese Foundation Secondary School and Pui Kiu Middle School.

EDIST hoped that the event would help increase public awareness of crime prevention, and appeal to the public to support the police in fighting crime.
