The Regional Crime Prevention Office of Hong Kong Island (RCPO HKI) mounted a publicity campaign in November and December to spread anti-crime messages to the elderly in parks, elderly centres, elderly homes and community halls on Hong Kong Island. The campaign aimed to remind the elderly to stay vigilant against phone scams and street deceptions and raise their awareness of home security.

During the campaign, officers of RCPO HKI handed out crime prevention leaflets and souvenirs, including Year 2020 calendars sponsored by the Teens and Elderly Mission Committee, to members of Project FANTASTIC and elderly people. The calendar contains monthly anti-deception messages to remind the elderly to take good care of their property and beware of deception.
