Over 30 Senior Police Call (SPC) members from Kowloon City District (KCDIST) joined a cultural exchange tour to Chaoshan and Haifeng from October 22 to 24. Led by SPC Honorary Presidents Mr Wong Yu-leung and Ms Jeanette Chan, the SPC members took the High Speed Rail to Chaozhou to take part in a series of cultural exchange activities.

During the tour, the SPC delegates were invited to visit Binyuan Police History Museum in Shantou City. Led by a docent, the delegates toured the museum to learn about the development and history of the Police Force of Shantou City.

The SPC delegates also toured historical and cultural landmarks, including Han Wen Gong Temple, Guangji Bridge, the Exhibition Gallery of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Shantou City and the site of Red Palace and Red Square in Haifeng. The tour enabled the delegates to enhance their understanding of the cultural development of Chaoshan and Haifeng.
