Commander of Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) Kerry Carew hosted a liaison luncheon at Tsuen Wan Police Station on December 18, 2019 to thank community dignitaries, leaders of local organisations and members of the public for sending gifts and materials to police officers in support of the Force's dedication to upholding law and order over the past six months.


Attendees included Tsuen Wan District Officer, Ms Yip Kam-ching; the then Chairman of Tsuen Wan District Council (TWDC), Mr Wong Wai-kit; Chairman of TWDIST Junior Police Call Honorary President Council, Mr Chan Iu-seng; Chairman of TWDIST Senior Police Call Honorary President Council, Mrs So Chan Wai-hang; Chairman of Tsuen Wan Rural Committee, Mr Yau Kam-ping; Legislative Councillor Mr Chan Han-pan; members of TWDC and Tsuen Wan District Fight Crime Committee, as well as members of the public.


Before the luncheon, frontline police officers shared their personal stories about being injured and besieged by protesters while on duty. Guests spoke in support of strict enforcement of the law by the Force to restore peace and order to the city as soon as possible.
