Sham Shui Po District (SSPODIST) organised an outing for members of Project MAMA and Senior Police Call (SPC) on December 27, 2019 to promote community integration and convey the message of environmental protection.

More than 50 Project MAMA and SPC members and their families visited Tai Po Butterfly Valley Organic Farm, Wun Chuen Sin Koon and a strawberry farm in Fanling. They took part in farming classes, vanilla seed planting classes, and fruit and vegetable picking activities in organic farms and gardens under the guidance of officers of SSPODIST Police Community Relations Office. The event enhanced communication between non-ethnic Chinese women and the elderly, while officers took the opportunity to disseminate crime prevention messages to participants.

SSPODIST will continue to engage with the community through Project MAMA and SPC, promoting community integration and cultural exchange.
