Regional Crime Prevention Office of Hong Kong Island (RCPO HKI) held a series of winter precaution publicity activities during last December and this January. Officers distributed anti-crime leaflets and souvenirs to members of the public in sitting-out areas, parks, elderly centres and community halls in various districts on Hong Kong Island. Officers reminded citizens to step up home security measures and keep a vigilant eye on their property. They also advised citizens to stay alert to scams and call the Anti-Scam Helpline 18222 to seek assistance from Anti-Deception Coordination Centre if necessary.
