Senior Police Call and Elderly Engagement Section (SPC & EE Section) of Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) and Hong Kong St John Ambulance co-organised a first aid course on January 11, aiming to equip SPC members with basic first aid knowledge.

A total of 24 SPC members attended the lecture offered by volunteers from Hong Kong St John Ambulance. The course covered basic first aid theory, bandaging, knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of automated external defibrillator. During the training, the SPC members took part in practical exercises to practise the first aid skills. They also actively participated in the questions and answers session. Upon completion of the course, the SPC members were each awarded an attendance certificate by Hong Kong St John Ambulance.
