The new Deputy Regional Commander of New Territories South (NTS) Sit Ka-ho, together with the Regional management team, met with the NTS representatives of the Junior Police Officers' Association (JPOA) at the NTS Headquarters Officers' Mess on February 14.

During the gathering, a number of staff concerns and welfare issues were discussed. Both the management and staff sides attached great importance to a direct, frank and two-way communication so as to enhance mutual understanding and support to frontline officers. NTS Regional Chairman of JPOA, Station Sergeant Ip Mun-hung, reckoned that the gathering had provided a good internal communication platform, and he stated that all JPOA representatives of NTS Region would continue to maintain close exchanges with the Regional management for strengthening mutual trust and cooperation.
