District Traffic Team of Mong Kok District (DDT MKDIST) conducted a traffic enforcement operation against illegal parking in the district on February 12 and 13, with a view to ensuring road safety and smooth traffic flow.

The operation focused on tackling illegal parking, including illegal parking at bus termini, public light bus stands and taxi stands, double parking, as well as illegal loading, unloading, picking-up or alighting activities at restricted zones. A total of 1 087 fixed penalty tickets were issued during the operation.

MKDIST will continue to improve traffic conditions to protect all road users and maintain smooth traffic in the district. Enforcement actions, publicity and education will be stepped up to raise the awareness of road safety.
