In support of city-wide efforts in combating coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Senior Police Call (SPC) members of Yuen Long District (YLDIST) established a volunteering group to assist the Yuen Long District Fight Crime Committee (YL DFCC) to distribute surgical masks to members of the public in the district.

Led by the Chairman of YL DFCC Mr Lui Kin and YL DFCC members, the SPC volunteers distributed all surgical masks within a short time. "Apart from delivering crime prevention messages, SPC members are also devoted to joining the fight against the epidemic to raise the health awareness among community members," a SPC volunteer said.

In a bid to promote public health among senior citizens, YLDIST SPC Honorary President Council also donated surgical masks and mobilised YLDIST SPC members to distribute the masks to other members in the district.
