Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) Senior Police Call (SPC) Honorary Presidents Council Inauguration Ceremony 2020/2021 was held on January 14, with officiating guests including Commander of TWDIST Kerry Carew; Tsuen Wan District Officer, Ms Yip Kam-ching; District Social Welfare Officer (Tsuen Wan/Kwai Tsing), Ms Ma Sau-ching; Chairman of TWDIST Junior Police Call Honorary Presidents Council, Mr Chan Iu-seng; Chairman of Tsuen Wan Rural Committee, Mr Yau Kam-ping; Chairman of the Executive Committee of Tsuen Wan Trade Association Limited, Mr Chau Chun-wing; and Chairman of Ma Wan Rural Committee, Mr Chan Sung-ip. Around 400 community leaders and SPC members also attended the ceremony.

Mr Carew presented certificates of appointment to eight Honorary Presidents and two Advisors in recognition of their keen participation in and unflagging support for the activities organised by SPC. Trophies were also presented to social welfare organisations, outstanding SPC captains and SPC members. Chairman of TWDIST SPC Honorary Presidents Council, Mrs So Chan Wai-hang, said that the SPC Scheme would continue to serve as a platform to help protect the elderly from falling prey to criminals. The ceremony offered a rich diversity of activities, including singing performances given by several singers. The ceremony reached its climax when the Crime Prevention Ambassador of SPC, Mr Au Shui-keung, performed the finale.
