The then Assistant Commissioner (Operations) Chow Yat-ming presented Police Long Service Medals and Clasps as well as Commanding Officer’s Commendations to 122 officers on November 11 at the Police Tactical Unit Headquarters for their exemplary performance and excellent contribution to the Force. Mr Chow expressed his appreciation to the officers for their courage and professionalism demonstrated in different challenges, and thanked their families for their selfless support. He encouraged the officers to keep up the team spirit for maintaining the stability of Hong Kong.

On November 18, Hong Kong Island (HKI) Regional Commander Kwok Pak-chung presented Police Long Service Medals and Clasps as well as retirement souvenirs to 34 police officers and civilian staff members at the Police Headquarters. He thanked the awardees for their contribution to the Force and wished the retiring officers a happy retirement.
