The Police Athletics Club (PAC) organised a virtual run challenge “WE-Dowman Road Race 2021” between February 12 and 26, offering Force members an opportunity to safely participate in the annual PAC event and enjoy the pleasure of running amid the pandemic.

Runners could choose to complete 12.5 km in one go or over two days, on a date, at a time and along a route of their choice. The event attracted 2 600 runners, together they left their footprints all over Hong Kong, covering a total running distance of 32 500 km. The “Most Supportive Formations” awards went to Hong Kong Police College, Police Tactical Unit G Company and Airport District.

With the introduction of the new award “Best Running Route Design”, PAC provided a platform for Force members to explore their creativity whilst doing exercise. PAC received over 700 submissions and will announce the top 10 of “Best Running Routes” upon assessment. The awardees will receive specially designed souvenirs.
