Traffic Kowloon East (T KE) organised a “Blind Spot Experience Day” at the Police Vehicle Detention and Examination Centre in Kowloon Bay on July 9, to demonstrate large vehicle blind spots and their potential risks to 30 elderly ambassadors of “Join Hands for Road Safety” programme. Kowloon East Regional Deputy Commander of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol Mr Edwin Fong was invited to attend the event. During the event, the Hong Kong Dumper Truck Drivers Association provided a large dumper truck for the demonstration of common blind spots of a large vehicle.
