In the Civil Service Outstanding Service Award (CSA) Scheme 2022, the Force clinched eight awards comprising two gold, two bronze and four meritorious awards. Moreover, the Force pulled off both the gold and bronze awards in the “Excellence in Team Collaboration Awards (Specialised Service)”. The CSA Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on December 12, 2022 with Chief Executive Mr John Lee as the officiating guest, joined by Executive Council Members and Legislative Council Members. Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chow Yat-ming, Director of Management Services Lam Hiu-tong and Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Tsang Yim-sheung also attended the prize presentation ceremony to congratulate all the award winners.
The entire Force is greatly encouraged by the eight awards won among nearly 200 submissions this year. These awards symbolise the recognition and affirmation of the Force’s contribution in maintaining law and order and providing service quality in recent years.
The Civil Service Bureau has been organising the CSA Scheme on a biennial or triennial basis since 1999. The objectives of the Scheme are to recognise the exceptional achievements of departments and teams in providing quality service, to promote a citizen-centric culture in the civil service, to encourage team spirit, to inspire innovation and to share experience in pioneering public service improvement.
Details of the awards won by the Force have been uploaded onto the website of Service Quality Wing on POINT.
