Commissioner Siu Chak-yee visited Ma On Shan Division (MOSDIV) on October 17 to exchange views with frontline officers. The Commissioner was apprised of the challenges faced by the officers regarding the rising trend of deception and technology-related crimes. He also gained insights into the overall crime trends in the locality. Officers from Shatin District (STDIST) briefed the Commissioner on the activities for promoting crime-prevention in the community, the anti-deception programme at the university and management measures to support frontline crime officers.

The Commissioner responded to the officers’ queries regarding operation, staffing and welfare issues. He expressed his appreciation for their commitment, encouraging them to continue their steadfast service.
