A delegation of nine personnel from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (the Agency), led by the Head of the Bureau of Protection Application of the Agency Dr Muhammad Ramdan S.H., M.Si., visited the Hong Kong Police Force between December 4 and 6, 2023.

During the visit, the Witness Protection Unit (WPU), the Family Conflict and Sexual Violence Policy Unit, the Psychological Services Group and the Police Community Relations Office of Wan Chai District conducted in-depth discussion and sharing sessions on witness protection in Hong Kong, support to vulnerable witnesses, psychological assistance to victims of crime and collaboration between the Hong Kong police and Indonesian communities in Hong Kong. WPU also demonstrated escort exercises and related tactical defence training to the delegation, showcasing the professional capabilities of the Hong Kong Police Force.
