The second JPC Chinese Flag-raising Competition (Final) was also held on the same day. The six winning teams of the semi-final rounds competed for various awards. More than 100 teams from primary and secondary schools participated in the competition.
Since 2022, JPC has arranged for voluntary foot drill instructors to visit primary and secondary schools and teach students Chinese-style foot drills and flag-raising as a means to enhance students’ understanding of the national flag, national anthem and etiquette of flag-raising. More than 2 000 teachers and students in primary and secondary schools have been trained so far. JPC will continue organising various activities in the future to nurture young people to become pillars of our country and society.
