Deputy Director of Personnel and Training Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) Mr Chen Yanchao led a delegation comprising 24 police officers from different provinces and cities in the Mainland for a study visit in Hong Kong between January 22 and 26. The Police College (the College) had exchanged with the delegation on management concept and experience in training. The exchange plans between the Mainland and the Hong Kong Police Force (the Force) for this year were also discussed with fruitful result.

The theme of this study programme was education and training management. The College arranged the delegation to visit various training bases and frontline units of the Force. Through interaction with frontline officers, the delegation gained insight into the Force’s various training, operational arrangement and equipment utilisation. The delegation also visited the College’s immersive scenario training system Studio ImmerXe and the cyber security facility Cyber Range.
