Director of the Police College (the College) Chan Yee-lai and Chair Professor of Neurorehabilitation and Head of Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of Hong Kong Polytechnic University Prof Pang Yiu-chung signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding on February 5, setting a firm basis for mutual co-operation between the two institutions in the fields of sports science, prevention of sports injuries and police physical training, and deepening the partnership between the two parties.

The collaboration aims to jointly develop a technological means to scientifically monitor trainees’ physical condition and physical development through data analysis platforms for training instructors to customise training plans and gradually improve trainees’ fitness level for higher training efficiency.

The management of the College and experts from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of Hong Kong Polytechnic University sign a MoU for collaboration.
