The Police College (the College) hosted the Programme on Leadership Enhancement for Administrative Officers (AOs) (the Programme) between December 8 and 9, 2023. 17 participants from different bureaux and departments joined the 1.5-day residential training at the College.

Since 2006, the College and the Civil Service Bureau have been jointly organising the programme for junior AOs. After four years’ suspension due to the pandemic, the programme resumed last year. During the programme, the AOs enhanced their leadership and team spirit through various team-building tasks and personal challenges. They also competed with probationary inspectors and had dinner gathering with them for exchange of experiences. In the sharing session, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chan Joon-sun shared the qualities required for an outstanding leader and encouraged them to devote themselves and lead by example.
