A recognition ceremony was held for Operation Breakthrough at the Marine Regional Headquarters on January 24 to thank various sectors and volunteers of the community for their massive support. The Chairman cum Assistant Commissioner (Operations) David Jordan presented certificates of appreciation to supporting social organisations and over 100 volunteers to commend their support for extensive programmes.
In his speech, the Chairman thanked all for their active involvement and selfless contributions. He stressed the important role of Operation Breakthrough in nurturing positive development of youths, and that the Force would continue its positive interactions and communication with youngsters through various sports so that youth at risk could have an all-round understanding of the Force.
