The appointment ceremony of the sixth Senior Police Call (SPC) Central Advisory Board (CAB) was held at the Police Headquarters on January 26. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee appointed the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and 17 SPC CAB members of the new term.

The SPC scheme has been implemented since 2014 and the CAB has also been established to secure the long-term development of the scheme. The CAB comprises members from different sectors of the community, including the academia, social welfare and elderly services, to provide advice on the development of SPC.
