To understand the officers’ concerns for the Force and their expectations so that appropriate strategies can be formulated, a new cycle of Staff Opinion Survey has begun on April 30. The survey is conducted via a government secured online survey platform provided by the Efficiency Office and the data will be conveyed to Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) for analysis.

Around 7 000 officers randomly drawn from regular, auxiliary and civilian streams are invited to take part in the survey. Invitation letters are sent to these officers through PEN and their respective Training and Staff Relations Officers. Invited officers are requested to complete the survey on the website by scanning the QR code and typing the password provided.

The survey platform opens between April 30 and June 13. All responses are anonymous and CUHK is commissioned for analysis of the collected data only.
