Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) held the 19th meeting of the Tripartite Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Working Group on Anti-illegal Gambling and Vice Activities in Hong Kong on March 27 and 28. Chief Superintendent of OCTB Kwan King-pan hosted the conference and met delegations led by Deputy Director of Public Order Administration Bureau of Guangdong Public Security Department Mr Luo Zhiqiang and Assistant to Commissioner General of Macao Unitary Police Service Mr Luis Leong.


A total of 30 representatives of legal enforcement agencies from Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macao attended the conference during which the illegal gambling and cross-border vice trends and related combatting strategies of the three places were introduced, and the prospect of crime information and investigation technique sharing and operational collaboration were deliberated. On behalf of the Hong Kong Police Force, Kwan King-pan thanked the law enforcement agencies of the three places for their efforts in combating illegal gambling activities and syndicated vice. He also looked forward to closer tripartite collaboration in the future.
