The 26th Triangular Golf Tournament was held in Hong Kong between April 22 and 25. The Hong Kong Police Golfing Society (HKPGS) hosted this session of the tournament joined by the delegates from the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF), Royal Thai Police (RTP) and Singapore Police Force (SPF). The tournament comprised friendly games and competitions for the Ray Anning Plate and Pacific Plate, which were held respectively at the Clear Water Bay Golf Club, Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course in Sai Kung and Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling.

The HKPF team won the Ray Anning Plate while the RTP team was winner of the Pacific Plate this year. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee and Head of the Civil Service College Mr Kwok Yam-shu officiated at the gala presentation dinner on April 25.

The tournament was first held in 1992. Elite golf players from the three police forces facilitate exchanges and strengthen partnership among police officers of the three places. It is an annual event for the three forces to host in turn. The occasion this time has a special significance as this year marks the 180th anniversary of the HKPF. The SPF will host the tournament next year in Singapore.
