The Police College (the College) held its Honorary College Advisor (HCA) Appointment Ceremony at the Police Officers’ Club on May 10. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee presented re-appointment certificates to 18 HCAs for extending their tenure by another two years. He also expressed his gratitude for their contributions offered to the College and the Force.


The Commissioner shared with the guests about the successful upgrade of the Standard Criminal Investigation Courses for Junior Police Officers from Level 4 to Level 5 of the Qualifications Framework. During the ceremony, the HCAs were shown a highlight video footage of the National Security Education Day cum Hong Kong Police Force 180th Anniversary College Open Day. The Commissioner reiterated the Force’s responsibility of safeguarding national security.


The College is committed to continuing its collaboration with the HCAs across various domains to enhance professional training and development, striving to become a leading centre of excellence in police training and development in the international arena.
