Chief Inspector of Traffic New Territories South (NTS) Lau Kam-pan led a delegation comprising four officers to visit the General Directorate of Traffic of Bahrain from April 28 to 30 to have an exchange with the local officers in the fields of traffic accident investigation, traffic enforcement and policing strategies.

Bahrain traffic police officers introduced to the delegation the local traffic situation and their efforts on promoting traffic safety awareness through various campaigns. The delegation also visited Bahrain’s Traffic Smart System Section to exchange views on leveraging technology to enhance traffic offence investigation and prosecution. The local officers also shared their experience on how they collaborated with insurance companies to utilise a shared e-platform to streamline procedures for handling minor traffic accidents.

The delegation visits the General Directorate of Traffic of Bahrain.
